I chose a franchise because there’s a lot already set up for you in the systems, the plans. And it’s all very smooth running. I chose Stroud Homes because they’re all about quality. And that’s something I really believe in.
They’ve also got great systems for quoting, purchase orders and on-site workflow. It’s a huge improvement on no longer getting home at the end of the day, my body falling to pieces and having to stay up late quoting. I’ve got a lot more energy now that I can concentrate on the business rather than being hands on plus trying to run a business. I’m just solely looking after the business and contracting out the hands on work.
My goal is for the business to grow large enough that it will run itself and I can have a lot more family time and spend more time away from the business while it’s in the background playing away.
