Mike: Morning, everyone. It’s Mark Harris here from Stroud Homes, and I’m pleased to introduce Trevor Mulholland, our new franchisee from Rockhampton.
Trevor: Good morning.
Mike: Welcome aboard, Trevor. How are you?
Trevor: Thank you. Yeah, I’m pretty good.
Mike: That’s good.
Trevor: Very good.
Mike: So I’m down here in Brisbane with Trevor. So Trevor’s come down, and he’s, we’re going through some of the display homes. We’re here at the Waterlily and Springfield Rise, which is Jason Till’s display home, here. And, how have you found that? Good?
Trevor: Yeah, it’s lovely. I mean, right when you come in the door it’s awesome. Yeah. The Waterlily feature. Yeah, I like it.
Mike: That’s good.
Trevor: And then the pool.
Mike: And the pool? Yep.
Trevor: Yeah. I just love how it all rolls around there, and you can see straight through. I like it.
Mike: That’s great. And, we’ve also been out to visit the ones out at Ripley. So we saw the Wildflower 256. Have you got any favorite designs that you’ve seen out of the three that we’ve seen?
Trevor: Probably the Wildflower.
Mike: The Wildflower?
Trevor: Yeah. I really like it.
Mike: What appealed to you in that?
Trevor: Just the design. How you can walk right around without interrupting the main living area. You can get around behind and you can get back out to the front door I think that might, you know. I like it.
Mike: Yeah. It’s actually one of our biggest sellers. So, just getting back to your journey with Stroud Homes. When did you first hear about us, Trevor?
Trevor: Oh, it’s probably a year and a half ago.
Mike: Okay.
Trevor: Yeah. So…
Mike: And that’s when you made your first inquiry about joining our team?
Trevor: Yeah. Yep. I was researching other [home building] franchises, and someone that had purchased a franchise…I forget their name now, but they told me, “I wish I’d bought Stroud Homes.” So I started looking it up straight away. So, yeah, it was awesome.
Mike: Great. And so that was a year and a half ago. And how have you found the process leading up to joining our team?
Trevor: Too slow for me, but that was my fault.
Mike: Right. Okay.
Trevor: But..yeah, no really good. Really helpful. Now we’re going. It’s, yeah, it’s pretty good.
Mike: It’s pretty good? Yep. And where are you at with your display office?
Trevor: We just framed it, so. Yeah. We’re just waiting on the electrician and the gyprocker, and…hopefully, next week.
Mike: Great, and you’ll be ready and rearing to go.
Trevor: We’re ready. Yeah. We’re ready.
Mike: Well, that’s good. So what else do you like about the Stroud brand that you’ve seen to date?
Trevor: Probably everything. I love the way they advertise. I love their slogans and just everything. I like everything about it.
Mike: Excellent. Well, that’s good to hear. Well, we’re going to be going very shortly out to the acreage display home at Brisbane South. So we’ll head off over there shortly, but welcome aboard.
